If memory mapping is in use then the mode in which the file (containing the memory mapped values) was opened determines the modes in which the tiled values can be accessed. Inappropriate access (eg attempting to change a grey value in a memory mapped tiled values table that was opened for read only) will generate a memory fault. The returned value is a bit mask in which WLZ_IOFLAGS_READ will be set iff grey values can be read and WLZ_IOFLAGS_WRITE will be set iff the grey values can be written to (ie modified). More... | |
